Snakes and Candles
Amelia didn't stay away from dance long.
With a Russian nightclub dancer named Beth Evans, she formed a floor show act, which they enterprisingly toured through small town Ontario. At
6 foot 4, Beth was a tap dancer with some ballet background who belly danced, swallowed fire and swords, and danced with snakes and candles.
Evans finally headed for France, and joined the Folies Bergere.
