Susan McKenzie: The Remembering Amelia Project was produced by New Dance Horizons and curated by Robin Poitras. Its' series of gatherings was a catalyst for many who knew Amelia to share recollections and ideas received from her. As scribe of that project and editor of this site, all errors and omissions are my own. I’ve been assisted by Itcush Method teachers Kana Nemoto and Ashley Johnson, and website design collaborator Deanna Peters. Perhaps something here will jog your memories and thinking. We always welcome your thoughts, recollections, contributions: email us.
Reflecting the blueprint set by her own mentor and teacher, M. Cohen-Nehemia, Amelia trained some excellent teachers. We encourage you to connect with them and experience this work:
Kathy Morgan, Saskatoon, Canada
Chihiro Tsubota, Kobe, Japan
Ashley Johnson, Regina, Canada
Kana Nemoto, Regina, Canada; Kobe, Japan
